Keeping a hectic schedule of people in mind, the iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker aims to assist you in meeting your fitness goals. Android and IOS compatible, this fitness tracker is connected to your phone via Bluetooth. iTouch Slim Fitness tracker is capable of tracking and monitoring your heart rate, calories, steps, distance traveled, and sleep.

iTouch Slim is one of the cheapest fitness trackers you will find in the market.

This Fitness Tracker is the thinnest of all the smartwatches launched by iTouch Wearables. There are five colored fitness trackers available with numerous options for strap colors. Strap colors range from simple, sober-neutral black color to colorful, fun rainbow colors.

The brand new iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker comes with an additional strap and a clamp charging cable. There is a lot of variety of colored straps available. One extra strap comes in the box; if you want other colors, you can buy it.

Price and Release Date

iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker costs you only $ 29.99. It is one of the cheapest fitness trackers you will ever find. It was released in December 2019 by the USA-based company iTouch Wearables. The company provides a warranty for a year from the date of purchase.

When the company introduced iTouch Slim for the first time, its price was $75.


The battery of this fitness tracker lasts from 5 to 7 days, depending on its usage once fully charged, the company claims.

To be fully charged from 0 takes two hours. Once I charge the fitness tracker, it easily runs for almost six days. I am quite satisfied with the battery. But enabling social media and other notifications drains the battery very quickly.

iTouch Wearables says the battery lasts for 30(standby time), but I am quite skeptical about it.

Fitness Tracking Features Of iTouch Slim

iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker tracks your health data with the help of your iTouch Wearable app. Also, this app needs to run in the background every time to capture data of your fitness data.

Heart Rate Monitor

Using the iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker, it is easy to measure your heart rate. You can measure and compare your daily heart stats using the app. Heart rate can be measured through a fitness tracker and through the iTouch Wearable app. If you find any irregularities in your heart rate, you can quickly consult a doctor. And I have found it calculates heart rate accurately.

But, it would have been better if the fitness band you wear captures your heart rate 24/7. The iTouch Slim reads your heart data only when you do it manually. You can compare your heart rates calculated manually, but you cannot see your stats for the whole day long.

Blood Oxygen Monitor

iTouch Slim is capable of measuring your blood oxygen saturation. You can measure your SpO2 from the iTouch Wearable application as well as from the fitness tracker itself. SpO2 is the measure of oxygen-carrying hemoglobin relative to oxygen, not carrying hemoglobin in the blood. Inadequate SpO2 can result in some serious health issues. So, it is a useful health tracking feature available in iTouch Slim.

Its measurement is near to accurate. This fitness tracker does not measure your SpO2 automatically. It should be measured manually. You can compare your stats of various days from your app.

Sleep Monitor

This fitness tracker monitors different phases of your sleep, like time awake, light sleep, and restful sleep. You can find out how well you slept the previous night through sleep scores. It gives us the result of at what time did you actually fall asleep or even how many times you woke up in between. It measures phases, quality, and duration. But REM sleep tracking, which is available in most of the latest fitness trackers, is missing in this tracker.

Sedentary Reminder

This is one of the features I like in the iTouch Fitness Tracker. Through this feature, the fitness tracker reminds you to have a walk when you have been sitting for some time and vice-versa. When you sit in the same position for some time, like at an office desk or watching movies, the fitness tracker reminds you to move.

This feature is active from 10 A.M to 6 P.M only. So, this feature won’t help when you are working late at night.

Steps And Distance Tracker

iTouch Slim also tracks your steps and the distance you have traveled. You can simply turn on the GPS before you start your walk and see how far you have traveled and how many steps you have taken.

You can update your daily target on your iTouch Wearable app. When you meet the expected target, it shows some celebration animation, but what is the use of stats that aren’t accurate? I did not find the steps count even near to accurate. Probably it counts step even when I swing my hands to do some other works as well. So I am disappointed in this aspect.

Other Good Features Of iTouch Fitness Tracker

Multi-Sport Mode

You can switch to different sport-modes as you play various sports. Various sports modes like swimming, cycling, hiking, football, basketball, etc. are available in this fitness tracker. Wearers can see their stats like heart rate or calorie burnt in real-time while they play various sports.

But, if your activity is of less than 2 minutes, the data will not sync to your iTouch Wearable app. Any sports activities that don’t exceed a couple of minutes do not even appear in the app.

Waterproof Feature

The new iTouch Slim is IP68 waterproof. As a result, these fitness trackers can resist water up to 30 feet(10 meters) and for 30 minutes. We must not use the wet band for long, the company suggests. It may result in skin irritation. The bands are easy to clean.

The company says we can even swim wearing the fitness tracker up to 10 meters for 30 minutes. But for me, it is not convenient. I am a swimming instructor as well, so I spend a few hours of my day in the swimming pool. I want to record my health statistics while I am swimming, but I am afraid if I use it for a longer time, iTouch Slim may damage.


The GPS feature can be accessed through the iTouch Slim on your mobile phone. iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker does not have an in-built GPS tracker. You can access this feature to know about routes or your workout progress. Many fitness trackers lack this feature.

Notifications and Messaging

You can receive your notifications, messages, and calls in your fitness tracker itself. You can even enable your apps or social media notifications on your iTouch Slim through settings. The only thing it takes is a little bit of your battery and your phone and Fitness tracker to be in the Bluetooth range. When you are busy, or you missed seeing the notification, you can still see it later.

Also, Do Not Disturb mode mute all your notifications in the fitness tracker. You cannot receive a call from the fitness tracker itself. But, the vibration can be stopped.

Motion Gesture

Motion gesture allows the iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker to light up the screen of the fitness tracker when you rotate your wrist. You do not need to tap the screen to see the time or other missed notifications. As a result, it makes it easier and quicker to access what you need. You can set a time when you want this feature to be active. This feature makes it easier to look at the time or notification just by moving your wrist.

Motion Gesture is active throughout the day. But if you want this feature to be active always, you can set the time from 12 A.M to 12 A.M. You can access this feature from the “Additional Features” tab.


The iTouch Slim gives a gentle vibration on your wrist to let you know that it is time to wake up or to remind you that you have set the alarm. But you cannot set the alarm for less than 3 minutes from the current time. You can set up to 3 alarms on different days of the week.

You can also use the stop-watch feature available in the smartwatch.

Alternatives to iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker

Xiaomi Mi Band 4

The cost of the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is $34.99. This fitness tracker tracks your heart data rate for 24 hours. It also gives you a sleep score in the morning to show how well you’ve slept. The fully charged Mi Band 4 can work from 10 to 15 days. Also, it is 5ATM waterproof, which means you can wear this tracker under 50 meters in the water while swimming.

We can view calls, texts, and other app notifications in the band. It gives “idle alerts”. Xiaomi Mi Band 4 tells us to move when we have been in the same position for some time. It records all the health data in the MI Fit app. It has got a bright AMOLED display, which makes it easy even in bright sunlight. There are six workout modes. You can even control music through the Xiaomi Mi Band 4.

Honor Band 5

Honor Band 5 costs $32.99. It can help you to be fit by measuring your steps, calories, heart rate and etc

Its 0.95 inch AMOLED screen makes us easier to view. The Honor band 5 is also a 5ATM water-resistant fitness tracker, and it can record swimming strokes and speed.

You can have your calls or message notification in your band, and you can even reject calls from the band itself. It has up to 14 days of battery life and has a very stylish appearance. It tracks your heart data for 24 hours and oxygen level at night automatically. You can manually measure the oxygen level at any time.

It has better battery life and better fitness tracking as compared to iTouch slim.

DoSmarter s20 Fitness Tracker

Released in 2019, the DoSmarter s20 Fitness Tracker monitors your health data like heart rate, blood pressure, and sleep. It gives your calls, messages, and social media notifications on the fitness tracker itself. Once fully charged, the Fitness tracker can function from 7 to 10 days. Since it weighs only 0.06 lbs, it is even convenient for kids. It is affordable and costs $34.99 only. You can easily charge your Fitness Tracker from the USB port. It is IP68 waterproof, so you can easily wash it or take a shower with the tracker on. People mostly prefer it for its accurate heart rate and blood pressure monitoring feature.

Its major advantage is easy charging; you can charge it where there is a USB port like a computer or a speaker. Also, this device gives accurate blood pressure, which is quite unexpected from a $34.99 fitness tracker.

Our Verdict

The iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker is a stylish-sporty fitness tracker that is available in various colors. The company also provides numerous band options that range from simple black to a rainbow or polka-dot bands. The screen display is also fine. The IP68 waterproof feature makes us comfortable and confident to wear it while doing household chores or taking a shower. Its heart rate and oxygen saturation tracker are almost accurate. The sedentary reminder function is one of the functions that are very useful for me. I work in front of the computer screen the whole day in the office, and it reminds me to take a walk!

I am also not satisfied with some features of the iTouch Slim Fitness Tracker. I’m pretty disappointed with its pedometer function. I don’t even get near to accurate results every time. Probably, it counts my hand swings even when I’m driving or doing some work.

We cannot store or control music in this fitness tracker. So it makes it quite difficult for me when I am working out. Also, the weather feature is not available on the tracker.

I would rate this fitness tracker 2.5 on a scale of 5. And if I was to buy one, I would add some more dollars and buy Xiaomi Mi Band 4 or 5, which would track my heart rate every time. Also, Mi Band 4 or 5 would let me control my music through my band. And, it would help me track my menstruation cycle, which would make my life easier.
